Clothing Repairathon on July 15 at Withrow Park Farmers’ Market

Love your clothes? Don’t toss them, fix them! Bring your beloved ripped jeans, your favourite holey sweater and that great shirt that’s missing a button to Toronto Clothing Repairathon. Volunteers will be happy to mend your clothes for free! Yes, for free. Find our table at Withrow Park Farmers’ Market on July 15 from 9 a.m. till noon, and we’ll do our best to repair your clothing.

Please bring a maximum of two items per person. And keep in mind, that we don’t do alterations, just repairs. We’ll mend rips, tears, holes, hems, reattach buttons and more.

As a volunteer-driven group we’re always looking for sewers of all skill levels. We’re a friendly and fun group who loves sharing our skills and giving back to the community. Love to help out? Please sign up at app.repairathon.com to hear about upcoming events all year long.

If you are a community group or organization who would like to host us, please get in touch. We still have spots open for 2017 season and would love to hold events in neighbourhoods across the city.

    Good evening,

I am interested in Volunteering for this amazing initiative. Can you please get back to me with information on how I can do it.

    Thank you

Would any intermediate sewers have their own leather work machine and be willing to do some measured work requiring attention to detail ? Paid.

I forgot my pants at your lovely stand at Withrow Park yesterday- just so much going on! Could you please email me and I will come and pick them up?
    THank you!

Sorry, we did not see this comment until now. I hope you’ve gotten your pants back, as we do not have it now.
