Bring up to two pieces of clothing in need of repair (sweaters with holes, shirts missing a button, etc.) Volunteers will repair them for free. First come, first served. Please keep in mind we do repairs only – no alterations. Zipper replacements may not be possible at every event, as we are dependent on the skill levels of the volunteers that day.

There will also be a Clothing Drive at Withrow that day! Bring any gently used warm clothes you can spare to help someone else keep warm this winter!

Want to spend the afternoon sewing, learn new skills, and meet new people? Volunteer with us! We’re always looking for new menders. All skill levels are welcome. To sign up for this event, visit app.repairathon.com.

Three Saturdays in September

Hey Toronto, Repairathon is coming to a Farmer’s Market near you the first three Saturdays in September!

First up, Withrow Park Farmer’s Market on the 7th, 10a-1p.

Next, we’re at the Junction Farmer’s Market on the 14th, 9a-1p.

Then, on the 21st, we’ll be at St. Lawrence Market for the Community Harvest Festival on Market St, 12-4p.

Bring those holey sweaters, ripped jeans and shirts missing a button and volunteers will do their best to repair them. If you’d like to learn how to do repairs, volunteers will be happy to show  and help you mend your clothes. First come, first served so arrive early to ensure your repair can be done!

Maximum two items per person to ensure we help as many people as possible. And keep in mind, that we don’t do clothing alterations, just repairs. Zipper replacements may not be possible at every event as we are dependent on the skill levels of the volunteers that day, and the time available to complete the repair.
