Clothing Repairathon September 30 at Withrow Farmers’ Market

Clothes need repairs? Don’t ditch ’em, stitch em! Bring your ripped and torn clothes to Withrow Park Farmers’ Market on Sept. 30 w’here Repairathon volunteers will be happy to mend them for free! Yes, free! Find our table from 9 a.m. till noon as part of the Autumn Makers’ Market where volunteers will fix your frocks.

Please bring a maximum of two items per person. And keep in mind, that we don’t do alterations, just repairs.

Clothing Repairathon August 26 at Parents for Better Beginnings in Regent Park

Busted buttons? Shirt need a stitch? Bring them to Parents for Better Beginnings on Saturday, August 26, where Toronto Clothing Repairathon volunteers will be fixing clothes for free. We’ll be at 38 Regent Street from 11 a.m. till 2 p.m., fixing rips, tears and offering a simple clothing repair workshop.

Please bring a maximum of two items per person. And keep in mind, that we don’t do alterations, just repairs.

Volunteers will be happy to mend your clothes for free! Yes, for free. Find our table at Withrow Park Farmers’ Market on July 15 from 9 a.m. till noon, and we’ll do our best to repair your clothing.

Join us at The Leslieville Flea on Sunday, June 11 where we’ll be hosting our second clothing repairathon of the year. Volunteers will be mending clothes for free at Ashbridge Estate from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m.

Bring your items in need of repair and volunteers will mend them, for free. Please bring a maximum of two items per person.

Repairathon April 23 at the Toronto Zoo

Toronto Clothing Repairathon is back for a 2017 full of mending, sewing and more. We’re excited to kick off the year with an wild event at the Toronto Zoo!
Join us on Sunday, April 23 at the Toronto Zoo’s Education Auditorium, where we’ll be repairing clothing items for free from noon till 2 p.m. Please bring a maximum of two items per person, please.

Want to learn how to repair your own clothes? We’ll also be running a free workshop on Mending Tips and Tricks at the Wild Connections Tent (beside the panda exhibit) from 3 to 4 p.m. Join us and learn some basic mending skills including how to sew up a fallen hem, reattaching a button and repairing small holes and tears. If you have any items in need of repair, bring them along to practice on.

Repairathon April 30 at the Canadian National Institute for the Blind

Toronto Clothing Repairathon will be mending clothing for free April 30 from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m.at the CNIB Centre, 1929 Bayview Ave. The event is open to CNIB clients but the public is also welcome to attend. Come by with clean clothing in need of small repairs, not more than 2-3 per person.

Repairathon is kicking off spring with our first events of the year at Wychwood Barns Farmers’ Market, April 9 and May 14 from 8 a.m. till noon.

Bring life back to your spring wardrobe by having your clothes mended by our group of talented volunteers. Tear in your jeans? Missing a button? We’ll repair it for free. Come by with clean clothing in need of small repairs, not more than 2-3 per person.

Repairathon at YIMBY Festival Oct. 31

Repairathon will be sewing up a storm at the YIMBY (Yes in My Backyard) Festival Saturday, Oct. 31 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Look for our table in the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University.
